I’ve got a fantastic batch of living rooms for you today. I know people say that the kitchen is the heart of the home, but I believe that really depends on your lifestyle and family size. For me, as a single gal who needs a cookbook to create anything more elaborate than grilled cheese, my living room would be much more accurately described as the heart of my home.
P.S. WordPress has just informed me that this is my 100th post! Milestones are fun. 🙂
We can not see much of this room, but from my standpoint, the photographer has captured its spirit flawlessly. That dog is adorable, and I don’t think it’s an accident that his fur blends perfectly into the dreamy pink and gray color scheme. Photographed by Earl Carter, via ATELIER Abigail Ahern.
Once again I am blogging work from Jessica Helgerson Interior Design. Have you noticed that I have been posting less completely white rooms? I think I’ve been influenced by a few of my fellow bloggers. I still
like love white, but it has become increasingly important to me that color is also used. For example in the case of this room, I would not like it as much if there was not the expansive view of greenery, and the blue demijohns (those big glass containers) are lovely as well.
Curvy curvy awesomeness. And that rug! And I’m sorry but have you ever seen a cooler floor lamp? (Don’t forget, most images I post will get much larger if you click on them!) Via Jessica Helgerson Interior Design.
Now I have for you a bit of a treat in the form of five images from Alvhem Mäkleri & Interiör (that’s Estate & Interior), another incredible Swedish real estate company that styles their interiors so magnificently.
Color! I don’t know if I’d ever be brave enough to select a bright pink sofa, but I love the way it looks in this room. Adorable pillows too.
Love the pops of green, red, and burnt orange.
To me, this is near color perfection. Near perfection in general, really. One of those rooms that I don’t just like elements of, I like it ALL. If you click to view it larger you’ll get a better view of all the lovely soft pinks, taupes, and greens, etc.Like This Post
