Simply Interesting Bedrooms

August 15, 2011

Whoops! It’s been a week since I posted. I guess the week after my sister’s wedding was pretty busy too! I think I started to write a post several times but kept getting interrupted or distracted. Haha. Oh well. I’m back into it today and hopefully will post my regular 3 times this week.

This bedroom is so dreamy. The delicate curtains make the room feel like a soft cocoon that can be opened up to a stunning view when the mood strikes. I would love love love a bedroom with this set-up. Although admittedly I might want some more heavy duty drapes for lazy Saturday mornings. Via Micasa.

I think I would put up with that not-so-comfortable looking bed to spend some time in this space. It looks like sleeping quarters on a boat! How fun is that? Via buddha interiors.

Love the architecture. Via nicety.

I love bed linens that are meant to look wrinkled. I need me some of that. Via freshome.

Simplicity can be therapeutic. An excellent guest room look. Photographed by Polly Wreford for Pale & Interesting via 79 ideas.

Fresh and tidy but with plenty of visual interest. Marie Claire via design attractor.

I really love that quilt and the graphic pillows are very fun. Of course as usual a cute kitty has swayed my opinion of a room to be more favorable than it might be otherwise. Seriously though, that quilt is great. Via Bolig.
