A Bag of Nice Kitchens

December 2, 2011

This is a kitchen that might not appeal to some people, but it really has some wonderful features. The best part is definitely those greenhouse-style windows. Photographed by Russell Smith via desire to inspire.

The use of plants here brings the space to life. The one thing I don’t like is that shabby not-so-chic plate holder on the wall. Is anybody else sick of that look? A wonderful naturally aged piece of furniture can be great but this intentionally scraped paint look is getting super old in my book. Via my ideal home.

Those lights and those chairs. Awesome. Via delight by design.

Something about this is nothing like what I usually like, but I can’t put my finger on it. It might be that green wall; I bore easily of that color. And yet I like this shot, probably due mostly to the flowers and lovely light. Via nicety.

This room makes me smile. Wouldn’t you just love to have a gigantic vase full of fresh tulips on your table every day? Sköna Hem via design attractor.

(Click the picture to get a much better view!) Okay so bright minty blue cabinets may not be for everyone, but that is my favorite color right now so I could not ignore this beautiful kitchen. I love that there’s no (visible) upper cabinets, and the open-faced shelf below is pretty cool. The best part is, of course, those windows! Via interiors porn.

Have a great weekend!
