Well friends, if my absence has been any indication you may have guessed that school is kind of kicking my butt. I had presentations due in both my classes this week and I have two more for both my classes due next week! I tend to over-prepare and have a bit of a perfectionist streak when it comes to some things, so all of these medium-sized projects packed into just a couple weeks have really been keeping me on my toes.
For one of my projects for next week I get to design a bedroom, including imagining it’s dimensions, selecting finishes and furniture, and drawing a floor plan. I get the feeling that it’s really meant to be an exercise in drawing a detailed floor plan, but of course I want to go crazy with carefully picking out furniture and fabrics and what not. I’m going to have to be careful not to let myself go way overboard with this one. Wish me luck!
In other news, I learned something recently. When your Google Reader has over 1,000 unread posts, it stops counting. So not only my blog writing has suffered, so has my blog reading! I need to stop blabbing and get to work!
Love the colors in this home, especially in the artwork. Via tránsito inicial.
A lovely detail shot of a gorgeous dining tablescape. I mean seriously, this is so incredibly charming. Via Ruffled.
Adorable. I love how the red table reflects so brightly off the glossy whites that they look pink. Via decor8.
Great gallery wall. Via My White Room.
I’m sort of obsessing over those pink legs. Add some fun framed illustrations and Eames chairs with wood dowel legs and I am 100% sold. From Apartment Therapy, pinned by The Foundry, repinned by Christine Martinez.Like This Post
