Design Voice Survey #20

Design-Survey-011113

Design Voice Surveys return! I’ve been so pleased seeing readers go out of their way to tell me how much they enjoy these surveys. Truth is, they are a lot of work to set up and it would be easy to let them fall through the cracks. So the feedback is much appreciated and definitely influenced my decision to start the series back up again!

You’ll notice one big change: the surveys will now be embedded directly into my posts! Neat.

There will likely be further tweaking of these surveys. I’m eager to make sure that they are always fresh and engaging. If you have any suggestions at all, I’m all ears!

Here’s the details on the Design Voice Surveys series: I try to choose photos in a variety of styles so you may love it one week and detest it another week. Please note that you will not at all offend me if you vote unfavorably. Some of them I love, and others I have big problems with. So no worries, be brutally honest!

Friday, January 18th I’ll gather all your responses and we can chat about what you thought and of course I’ll give my own two cents. :) Feel free to use the comment section as well!

I only made it through half of the survey, and when I tried to put in a comment I hit “enter” and it just submitted the whole thing! Woops! Should I just re-take it? Or can I get back to it and change my responses somehow?

    • I don’t believe Polldaddy has the capability to let you retrieve your response and change it. The survey is set to allow multiple responses from the same device, so you should be able to re-take it.

So you were typing something into one of the text box questions and hitting enter submitted the survey? Gah, that’s a coding flaw that unfortunately I can’t control. :/

Oh, so happy to see a survey again! As fun as always, though this was the first time my overall judgement of the room was dislike :)

    • Hi Mia! So great to hear from you. Oh and thank you for the retweet! My overall opinion of this one is not favorable either. It’s pretty “out there” but I thought that made it especially interesting to feature in a survey. I love seeing all the different reactions people have to such an out-of-the-ordinary design. I’m excited to post the results on Friday with more of my thoughts. :)
