Perhaps you recall a month ago when I sang the praises of white marble countertops for the kitchen? It stands to reason that I would love white marble in the bathroom as well, and indeed I do. I wonder what it is about this material that appeals to me so much. White is crisp and clean, the ultimate backdrop. Capable of fitting in with virtually any style. While the gray veining provides visual interest and a beautiful free-form natural pattern.
Do you love marble so much you want to cover nearly every surface with it? By all means. Just make sure you’re aware of the pros and cons of the material which any stone salesperson will be able to explain. On an unrelated note, I love how in the above bathroom they’ve used window film on only the lowest row of panes to provide privacy while still letting in a lot of light.
I really adore this last room. It is clearly a spacious bathroom, which is wonderful. I love how they’ve tackled the issue of sloping walls with expertise. I also really enjoy open vanities like this. It’s such a nice way of keeping the room feeling open and light. A beautiful chest of drawers provides storage as well as a warm wood tone. And the floor tile is stunning too! Which is your favorite part?
