Black lacquer, you kill me. As do you, brass details and pink flowers.
White marble. Brass. Pink flowers. I’m a little predictable sometimes. But isn’t this stunning?
Some people really know how to decorate shelves. It is so much harder than it looks to really pull off a polished look. Accomplished stylists, I envy you. I think the only road to beautiful styling is to practice. And to edit. Removing things that don’t contribute to the style you want, moving things around to see if an item works better elsewhere, keeping in mind the famous William Morris quote: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” Practice, edit, and practice some more!
