Living Rooms from Soft to Bold

Living Rooms from Soft to Bold | weekdaycarnival.blogspot.com | design-vox.com

Good morning. I feel like my neck is trying to kill me. :D I woke up this morning with shooting pain in my lower-neck upper-back region and it has only gotten worse and stiffer as the day goes on. So now I’m going about my business wincing and holding my head down and to the right like I’m perpetually pouting. Which I kind of am. Cause ow.

Anyways. Check out these fabulous living rooms all shot from a similar angle interestingly enough. I love the soft nearly-neutral colors in this first one. The tight little cluster of art on the wall is so cute and unexpected.

Holy moly I am so enamored with this room. It’s got it all! Brass, a beni ourain rug, a green velvet sofa, etc. Also there’s a hippo, which I find simultaneously bewildering and delightful.

  1. I flippin love love love the last living room. I’m dyyyying over the floral print chair and I want hardwood floors solely (other than a gross stained carpet) for an ourain rug. I’ll tell you something right now… I better have a green velvet sofa in my life or so help me……

    • I love love love it too! I squealed when I first saw it. And I completely agree about the necessity of a green velvet sofa, though I also require a navy velvet sofa. I’m pretty sure velvet sofas are the meaning of life.

      • Uuugggghhhh navy velvet!!! Gimme. You’re right, they are. My next home will require an underground warehouse that will allow me to store furniture so i can change it according to my mood

  2. These rooms look so comfy and stylish!

  3. EEK! The little guy to the right of the green sofa is gorge! Is that a hippo? I want one! Would be perfect for a nursery, if only I had a baby to put in the nursery also… hehe
