Great Spaces to Work from Home

I love rooms that can serve multiple functions. This table can offer a welcoming spot for brunch with friends as well as act as a work space. Can’t find a desk you like for your home office? Don’t get a desk then. Particularly if you don’t need a bunch of storage or place to hide cords, a regular old table can offer everything you need. Plus you’ll be the cool person who thought outside the box. Can I also just say a huge yes to this chalky gray wall color, the portrait, and fiddle leaf fig tree. Somehow I’m not sick of those trees yet even though they have been everywhere in design for quite a while now.

Sweet modern furniture + plants. All you really need to have a killer room.

Again, this room reads like a dining room and absolutely could be used as such, but it also looks like an ideal place to sit down and get some work done or hold a small meeting. Great light and just enough decoration to be interesting without being distracting. And your most valuable coworker: the cat. He means business.

Table design is very nice in the second photo. Where can we find such a table. I liked it very much that you share examples. All lovely, but the second is much nicer.

Hi Katie! I’m glad you like that table! I do not know where that exact table comes from, it may very well have been custom built. But it is an easy enough style to find. Try searching for “wood table hairpin legs”. Here’s an example of something similar I found on Etsy. You could have the desk created for you custom by a local furniture maker or try This seller looks to have a similar style.
