My Wedding Registry Picks Part 2 – Tabletop

November 13, 2014

Continuing what I started in Part 1, here’s some of the lovelies on our wedding registry for the dining room! We do not currently own a usable (read: pretty enough for me) tablecloth and our table is frankly ugly. So for starters a couple nice tablecloths is a must. I chose one basic gray linen from Restoration Hardware and one gorgeous if slightly “loud” botanical print from Zara Home. Other than the Zara tablecloth I clearly tend towards neutral pieces for the table. Having a lot of quality neutral pieces allows you to mix in something like that tablecloth or seasonal decorations without worrying about clashing. Plus I just love a good neutral.

I’m fairly obsessed with those serving pieces from Anthropolgie. They are pricey but wow what a statement, and quality enough to last decades or longer. I’ve already been made fun of a little bit for the Kate Spade pieces. Yes, it is a vase with a vase drawn on it. Yes, they are salt and pepper shakers with salt and pepper shakers drawn on them. And they’re adorable and quirky and pretty and fun. Who’s with me?

Glad you like! Those mugs are so pretty and affordable too! I’d like to not have a mismatch of mugs in the cupboard anymore, though I suspect my fiance’s sports team mugs will have to stay. 😉
